Hello Race Fan!
This week we're at the Indy Motor Speedway. The place where the winner not only has a good pay day, but gets to KISS THE BRICKS!!! Hopefully, at the end of the day my favorite driver Jimmie Johnson will take his 4th win. Good Luck JJ!
Welcome!
Hello and Welcome to my blog Lulu's Story. I was born Sandra Lee Sprouse on December 29,1953 to Howard and Virginia Sprouse. I'm the youngest of 7 children. My family was and still is big on nicknames hence Lulu. My Mom thought I looked like Little Lulu in the comics strip when I was brought to her. lol I don't know that I was ever called by birth name until 1st grade. I do remember my teacher Miss Robinson insisted I write Sandra on my paper, but as you'll read along the way I was a determined little girl and I wrote Lulu! In this blog I hope you laugh, and be inspired, but please don't cry. My story is what has made me the woman I am today.
Enjoy!
Enjoy!

My Second Post!
Good Mornin'!
I thought I'd ever say this, but it's going to be nice when we get into early fall. The summer here on the east coast has been too hot for my liking. That's not to say it's any better across the USA. The middle of the country has had brutal temperatures sometimes in the triple digits. Then when you add in the humidity it becomes unbearable! Today we brace for another hot one and my pool days are over! lol
I'm just getting this blog off the ground as I stated in my previous post. I hope to raise awareness for ALS, tell you about my journey, keep you updated on the latest news and most of all encourage you in whatever you're facing in your life. I apologize up front because I'm not the smartest cookie in the cookie jar, but what I am is honest, compassionate, determined, and some say even funny. I do love a good clean joke and believe laughter is the best medicine! If I ever get something wrong you may always let me know. I won't hit you over the head because I can't! lol So, I hope you'll follow me as I journey on. Have a great weekend! Hugs!

What Am I Doing
I have a friend Dave Saunders who keeps telling me I should start a Blog. So, Dave I'm starting, but I have no idea what I'm doing. LOL Maybe, with help from you, my sons Scott, Sean and Step-daughter Kim, I'll succeed. My goal is letting followers know about Living With ALS, Raising Awareness and Inform. Please pray for me as I begin another chapter of Lulu's Story.
